Hello Jericho fans!
One year of service as of June 3rd of 2008! On June
3rd of 2007 Jericho Times Newsletter send out the first
edition! It is still avaible to see. CLICK HERE! When
I started out with this newsletter I had one mission.
Report what was going on the CBS message boards. Why?
Not every fan was a fan of the CBS message boards. With
in a month of launching the Jericho Times Newsletter
subscribions jumped from 50 subscribers to 300. Over
the course of the few months the subcribions went to
300 to 800 and even eaching 1,000 mark less then 9 months!
Being a person who reports on what is going on with
the Jericho I have seen highs and lows of everything
with a fandom. I have seen the fandom grow quickly with
alot of talented people behind the growth.
One year of working with every fan and every message
board. It turned into not just reporting whats going
on with the CBS message boards but into reporting
everything thats goes on in the fandom. I found I was
pulled in many different directions I could not do this
alone. So, I made the call for help and the Jericho fans
responded in force!

Jericho Times Newsletter. As I write this I am currently
in the works of a fan created Jericho web show as well
as other fans from around the country.

OK folks,
just a quick heads up on some things regarding the long
awaited commercial.
It is definitley going to air this week, its just a matter
of which day exactly.
There are some things that need to be explored a bit, but
regardless, we will be a go for this!
Also, one cool little thing
I thought I'd share with you is that on Friday night, The
Discovery Channel will be airing its special about the
Greensburg Disaster and rebuilding.
The ad will run at least two times during that show itself,
so its a perfect fit.
We're in the process of getting someone to record the program
along with the ad for everyone to see.
Speaking for all of us who have worked
on this campaign, we'd like to thank you for being patient
with this process. Its been very difficult to not cut corners
on this, but we've felt that a lot of people spent good
money on this and we want to see it reach its potential.
And it will.
So again, we are nearing the end of having to wait for
this, but I can honestly say that I think this has the
potential to be a media bonanza and than some.
So hold off a bit longer and you will be VERY, VERY happy!
Look what I found everyone!!! O.K. so I'm not a
man but what the heck the article describing Jericho was

Jericho
is one of those television shows
that enjoys a rabid and devoted fan base yet lacks mass appeal.
It's heralded by critics yet fought week after week to keep
its ratings above water. Jericho's ratings were so borderline
that CBS canceled the show after only one season. This sent
the fans into a frenzy, sparking a massive online outpouring
of support to revive the show. In May 2007 CBS did just,
giving Jericho a second lease on life. Unfortunately the
second season turned out to be the last (for now anyways),
but that's no reason to not want to relive it or experience
it for the first time. On June 17, CBS Home Entertainment
will release all seven episodes from season two on DVD bringing
that possibility to reality. We've teamed up with CBS Home
Entertainment to offer five lucky readers the chance
to take home their own set of Jericho Season Two on DVD.
All you have to do for a chance to be one of them is submit
the short form below and hope your name is picked. You can
even increase your odds of winning by returning each day
to enter again. Jericho is a drama about what happens when
a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears on the horizon
plunging the residents of a small peaceful Kansas town into

What do Moonlight and Jericho fans have
in common?
We are both fighting to find our show
a new home.
We have been working with Moonlight fans for the last
week to launch a radio dedication campaign to
benefit both shows. This effort has been cross posted
on three Moonlight forums with their fans support and participation
already in progress.
Our Mission:
Call up your local or national radio station that takes
dedications, within your reach, and dedicate any of the
following songs to the people at the Save Jericho, Save
Moonlight TV Show Campaign. (Or; dedicate it to the ‘Moonrangers
of Jericho and Moonlight’)
“Calling You” by Blue October (Moonlight)
“World” by Five For Fighting (Jericho)
“Into the Ocean” by Blue October (Moonlight)
“Tick, Tick, Tick, Boom” by The Hives (Jericho)
These songs are all still current on the Rock and Adult
Contemporary charts, are trackable using Billboard, and
were all featured within or associated with our shows.
Why?
This idea originally came towards the end of the Save Jericho
Campaign, and was resurrected once again for the Watch
Jericho Campaign and with the help of some fellow fans,
has been retooled for this new purpose. This particular
effort can continue on long after the shows are potentially
renewed. It’s that widestretching.
Formerly called the Nothing Compares 2 U Song Dedication
Campaign, (but because the song and the artist have a tendency
of causing violent reactions in people...(the History Starts
Now Song Campaign is designed to promote Jericho (and now
Moonlight) in a fast, inexpensive easy way that everybody
participate in, nationally and Internationally. It launched
originally with successful results while trying to get
Jericho back, but was cut short by the announcement of
its return. It also ran during the days previous to the
first airings, and during the Watch Jericho Campaign, all
with moderate results. Many of the people who are potential
watchers of both shows, are not internet savvy, or may
not want to get involved in the online race. Many don’t
even know the shows are cancelled. This is a chance to
reach out to them. You may not listen to radio, but they
do.
There is additonal information about contact with DJ's
and some ideas if you get airtime posted on Jnet in
the Save Campaign Folder, but, here are some bullets:
- Mention the June 16th Season 2 DVD Release.
- Mention the ongoing efforts, the ads, the billboard,
the commercial, the Peanut Butter to Food Banks, Greensburg
or the DVD's for Troops.
- Give it a personal touch! Why do you think Jericho
should continue?
We cut down on the number of songs from previously, and
added in the commonly tracked ones from Moonlight. This
may not directly and immediately promote our sites, but
it gets curiosity piqued, and eventually will lead to further
investigation on the end of the DJ’s. In addition,
this full on hit will include extensions to talk radio,
which can potentially lead to media attention. These songs
are also tracked by Billboard. If enough dedications and
airplay is increased for these songs, that too, will be
noticed by the media.
Keep calling or emailing these requests in, every other
hour, every five hours, every day, whichever you can do.
Get others to join in within your state, or in states within
the broadcasting area of those local stations, and most
definitely on the National Radio Stations. Make sure you
include the dedication to Jericho or Moonlight, however
you decide to phrase it, make sure you get it
in there.
